Deben Speakers is a fantastic place for beginners to overcome their fears and take their first step on the road to speaking confidently in public. It's also an opportunity for more experienced speakers to improve their skills.

We especially welcome people who have a specific goal in mind such as acceptance speeches, wedding speeches, work based presentations, etc. Ewe’ll show you how to draft and perfect these.

The focus is on learning by doing and receiving feedback from more experienced members in a supportive environment. Over the years, in sister clubs, we've developed some very effective and proficient public speakers.

Guests are very welcome to come along to see how we work before making a decision whether to join.
