Move Better, Feel Better, Live Better Regular exercise is known to benefit individuals living with Parkinson's by improving health and well-being, maintaining physical function, easing symptoms, and enhancing quality of life.
To support this, a new weekly exercise class has been launched. Developed by Fiona Hering of Method Fit Personal Training in association with Parkinsons UK, these classes incorporate various movement techniques aimed at improving balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility.
The classes are designed to accommodate all ages and abilities and include opportunities for social interaction with others who have the same condition. Sessions are led by a specialist-trained instructor who will provide support and guidance throughout. The objective is to offer measurable improvements in mobility for those with moderate Parkinson's disease.
If you or someone you know has Parkinson’s, then please come along or spread the word. Wear comfortable clothes and arrive 15 minutes before the start in time for registration. Parking is available on the Hill just short walk from the pub or drop off outside.
